Unstructured Triangular-Quadrilateral Mesh Generation. Application to Surface Meshing.

To start, we recall a mesh generation method, allowing to create a so called unit mesh, which is an extension of the classical Delaunay method in the case where the process is governed via an isotropic or an anisotropic control space. Then we introduce a conversion method from a triangular mesh to a quadrilateral mesh. Furthermore, we describe the generalization of this method to adaptive surface mesh generation. Several examples are provided to illustrate the capabilities of the proposed method.
