Registration Details:

Full registration for the Meshing Roundtable is $285 ($325 after September 4, 2000).

The fee covers registration and proceedings and all sessions along with a special roundtable gift. It will also cover a continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and the Aquarium Poster Session and Tram on Tuesday, October 3rd, continental breakfast, afternoon snacks and the dinner banquet and awards (not including guest) on Wednesday, October 4th AND continental breakfast and afternoon snacks on Thursday, October 5th. Lunch for Wednesday is not provided in order to give guests an opportunity to enjoy the local cuisine in New Orleans. This registration fee does not include the short course to be held on Monday, October 2nd. The short course fee is $100 per attendee which includes course materials and all three topics.

Student Registration: $80 student registration by September 4.

Current student ID MUST be provided with the registration form to receive this reduced price. Please check the appropriate place on the registration form if you are a student. Student fee covers registration and all sessions, proceedings, all meals during the conference and the Aquarium Poster Session and the dinner banquet and awards (not including guest) . This registration fee does not include the short course to be held on Monday, October 2nd. The short course fee is $100 per attendee which includes course materials and all three topics.

Guests: Additional fees for Poster Session and Banquet Dinner

On the registration form, we have provided an opportunity to bring guests to the Poster Session which will be held at the Aqaurium of America and to the Dinner Banquet which will be pm tje 41st floor of the Marriott Hotel overlooking the city of New Orleans. There will be an additional charge for each guest who accompanies you to these functions. The Poster Session is an additional $25 per guest and the Banquet is $50 per guest. Children 12 and under are half price; toddlers and infants are free. Please keep in mind that these functions are covered in the registration fee for ALL Meshing Roundtable attendees. Indicate on the registration form if you plan to invite guests to these functions.

Applicable to Sandia National Laboratories Employees ONLY: We will require an active case number and case manager signature on the registration form for registration to this meeting. No other action is required by you other than providing a case and a signature. The Meshing Roundtable conference coordinator (Tammy Eldred) will then submit an Intercase Transfer form (ICT) with ALL Sandia participants names and cases following the conference to transfer your registration fee into our conference case. Please DO NOT pay with credit card or by check or money order. We can only accept a case number(s) from you.

Parking & Transportation

The Marriott Hotel is thirty minutes from the New Orleans International Airport. Taxis are available to and from the hotel at $21.00 up to two people and $8.00 each additional person therafter, as well as shuttle service for $10.00 (both one-way charges). The hotel can be reached by car via Interstate 10. City transit buses pass in front of the hotel and the St. Charles Avenue streetcar, the city's last electric trolley, passes one block away.



A reception, with a cash bar, will take place on Monday, October 2, 2000, from 6:00-9:00 pm at the Marriott Hotel. A continental breakfast will be served each day and refreshments will be provided during mid-morning and mid-afternoon each day. Lunch will be provided on Tuesday, October 3rd at the Marriott Hotel. Also included will be entrance and hors d'oeurvres at the Aquarium of America during the Poster Session on Tuesday, October 3rd. There will be a banquet and awards on the 41st floor of the Marriott Hotel at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, October 4th. Guests are invited for an additional costs (see registration form and Spouse/Accompanying Guest information.)



Incoming messages will be recieved at the Marriott Hotel during normal business hours at (504) 581-1000 and will be posted at the registration table near the meeting room. Please refer to 9th International Meshing Roundtable when leaving a message.
