The poster session will be held on October 24, 2011. The poster session will feature three categories of posters:
Demonstrations of meshes from participants of the roundtable from which the Best Mesh or Meshing Maestro award is selected
Technical exhibits of current research in mesh and grid generation
Student exhibits of current research in mesh and grid generation
From the first category, the annual Meshing Maestro is selected by attendees of the poster session. The winner has the opportunity to have their design used for next year's conference T-Shirt. The primary criterion used by the peer review for the Meshing Maestro award is based on the aesthetic appeal of the mesh. Therefore, in this category, we solicit posters that emphasize striking visuals with few technical details.
The second and third categories are an ideal forum for authors who would prefer not to submit a formal technical paper, but would like to illustrate state-of-the-art techniques and procedures in which they are currently involved. Session speakers are also invited to display practical results of their work at the poster session. The conference steering committee will select winners for the best technical and student posters. To participate in the poster session, you must be attending the conference. Mark the appropriate box on the registration form to indicate your participation and the number of posters you intend to display at the poster session.
When: October 24, 2011
Where: Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris.
The display of each poster must fit on one 40 inch x 30 inch foam poster board. Poster material & mounting supplies will be made available to participants
Laptops are allowed ONLY to enhance your poster or give a demo; however, you must have a hardcopy poster to participate in the contest
