The 25th International Meshing Roundtable solicits both full papers and research notes. The lists of topics for full papers and research notes are the same. As a rule, authors should not submit a full paper and a research note on the same topic in the same year. However, they may submit a research note in one year and submit a full paper the following year on the same topic.
The 25th International Meshing Roundtable utilizes a two-phased review process. Papers may either be accepted with or without revisions. For most cases where “accepted with revision” has been indicated by the first review, specific modifications will be requested prior to a final review and acceptance.
Deadlines are all 11:59 pm Mountain Daylight Time (UTC-6 hours)
Full papers must have original and significant contribution in order to be accepted. All papers will be rigorously peer-reviewed by reviewers selected by the program committee. Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings and will also be provided to conference attendees on a flash drive and available on the IMR website. The proceedings are printed in color. Each accepted paper will be given a 20 minute slot for presentation plus 5 minutes for questions. At least one of the authors must register and attend the conference for a paper to be included in the proceedings.
Research Notes are short articles describing exploratory research, preliminary results and techniques deemed to be relevant to the field of meshing. The research notes will have only one submission and will be reviewed by the program committee. Unlike full papers, there will not be a camera-ready submission of the accepted research notes. Special sessions will be dedicated to presentations of research notes. The research notes will not be included in the proceedings, however, will be included on a flash drive and on the IMR website. Each research note will be given a 10 minute slot for presentation plus 5 minutes for questions.
